Why D&I? Over the course of my career, I have partnered with a number of companies. The companies who have fostered the most open community are the most collaborative, allowing them to be more agile and have the most innovative ideas. Working for these companies have been the most fulfilling, personally and professionally.
The private sector has the biggest opportunity to create diversity change because of their access to people, time and resources. What is learned for work can be replicated to the public. As I look to the future for my children, I hope to create a spark of change that will benefit them for years to come.
