Celebrated in the U.S. since 2012, November is National Family Caregivers Month (NFCM). Around 1 in 5 Americans identify as family caregivers, yet only 56% of those caregivers say their workplace is aware of their caregiving responsibilities. For your organization, NFCM offers an opportunity to raise awareness of caregiving issues and create or revisit systems and policies that actively support your caregiver employees. In short, it’s a time to care for the caregivers.
