Dahnia Asfour

Dedicated, passionate, empathetic, problem-solver

Dahnia (she/her) graduated from the University of North Carolina with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in English. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, she has a background in small business local marketing, franchise development, B2B, and CAUSE marketing, with a concentration in paid social media strategy, email marketing, and organic social. While working in marketing, Dahnia has found a passion for mission-driven marketing and using a brand’s voice to help tell their story, and doing so in a way that is relatable and attainable to the audiences she’s targeting.

As someone who has moved around a lot throughout her life, both domestically and internationally, Dahnia finds that she has a unique perspective on approaches to marketing that helps TDM in achieving their goals.

Dahnia is an advocate for many different groups of people, using the privilege of who she is to help raise the voice for the voiceless. In her free time you can find her cross-stitching while watching reality tv, hanging out with her partner and pups, or being around friends outside (as long as she is not struggling with spring allergies).

Why DEI?: As someone who was raised in many different cultures and across many different perspectives, I find a home in DEI initiatives. Everyone, at some point in their lives for whatever reason, has felt unincluded and alone. My goal is to do what I can to make as many people as possible feel welcome, seen, and heard regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other identity.
