Thompson is an educator, business strategist, and entrepreneur, serving in numerous senior leadership roles within higher education and in the private sector. As an entrepreneur, she is the founder and co-owner of a leather goods company based in East Africa. Dr. Thompson has co-authored numerous articles, publications, and books. Her strong business and strategic acumen enables organizational leaders to realize how diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) unlocks workplace excellence.
