Distinguished Leader, Attorney, and DEI Advisor Provides Business and Product Guidance, Strategic Partnership, and Legal Expertise
AUSTIN AND RALEIGH, February 13, 2022 – The Diversity Movement announced that Tai Chung, Managing Director of Footnote 4, has joined its Advisory Council. The distinguished startup advisor, business development professional, digital health expert, and lawyer will utilize his array of talents to advise the company as it continues to expand its business, particularly the DEI Navigator employee experience platform.
Based in Austin, Chung has extensive experience with advising enterprises and startups on business development, company formation, contracting, and DEI strategies. From 2018 to 2020, he served as the chairman of the #1 ERG in the United States, as recognized by the Global ERG Network (GEN). He currently serves as the DEI columnist for Above the Law, a popular website “written by lawyers for lawyers.”
“Most executives like to talk about a ‘culture fit,’ but Tai Chung joining our Advisory Council is so much deeper – a great ‘culture addition’ that immediately benefits our team of diversity executives and strategists,” said Donald Thompson, chief executive officer of The Diversity Movement. “His deep expertise as an attorney and startup advisor will help us create new business, partnerships, and amplify our story to a national and international audience.”
“It’s been a privilege to work with TDM over the last few years and witness their unique impact across several professions, including the healthcare and legal industries. I look forward to partnering with TDM on its new business development, DEI, marketing, and podcasting strategies. It’ll be exciting to make waves in several industries and help others learn and grow throughout their respective voyages,” said Tai Chung, Managing Director of Footnote 4.
As part of The Diversity Movement’s Advisory Council, Chung will participate in strategy meetings, provide feedback and advice on business proposals, review existing product roadmaps and strategy, and help tell the company’s story across its distribution platform. His expertise as a subject matter expert in various marketplaces will give The Diversity Movement added perspective into these professional industries, particularly as it develops new products and services designed for those markets.
DEI Navigator
Chung’s business and legal acumen will also play a critical role in expanding and refining DEI Navigator, the flagship of its employee experience platform. One of the most cost-effective ways for organizations to invest in and create an inclusive workplace culture, DEI Navigator is built on education, community-building, and real-time coaching. It was created for organizations that want to launch their DEI journey or take an existing program to the next level, especially if they have limited resources.
Built on education to drive business results, DEI Navigator helps companies scale faster than they can if they attempt to go it alone. It provides the tools so that every employee can thrive as part of a high-performing, inclusive team.
